The 30 Day Muse Project- Day 5- Bea- Australia

A junk drawer of creative tools for the uninspired artist.

THE 30 DAY MUSE PROJECT
(a global facebook session)
As an artist it is too easy to be inspired by Facebook. It allows the world to become so compact as more people fall in love with connecting on a global scale.
In appreciation, everyday I will be creating and posting a new art portrait based on my muses found here on Facebook. Sorry. All muses were preselected last year based on inspiration, friendliness and actually returning messages. It pays to be nice people.
However, if you wish to commission me for a portrait, you can visit www.riceandbeanz.bigcartel.com for all details.
To all the old Myspace folks here that supported me through my other 30 projects, you already know what is in store for you.
Thank you and enjoy the ride.

Mock Blaxploitation movie poster for Frankie Knuckles event. Image is a take off of early 1970’s black films that inspired modern filmakers such as Quentin Tarantino.
The world is about to shift it’s powers.

In our strange time where truly artistic originality, deep passionate soul stirring creativity, imaginative vibrational power is undervalued, under appreciated, unloved, ignored, mocked or missunderstood
in favor for
zero nutrient marketing and sales, following the great hype machine, overexposure of talentless superstars with unmerited egos, the hypnotic trance of mass consumer match-making union with bland homogenized products that fail to emotionally move us, parishioners of the “$” praying only for the material definition of the illusion of wealth that keep this whole system running as long as it can…
keep your head up, this one is for you.
“They are the architects of greatness, their vision lies within their souls, they peer beyond the veils and mists of doubt and pierce the walls of unborn Time. The belted wheel, the trail of steel, the churning screw, are shuttles in the loom on which they weave their magic tapestries. Makers of Empire, they have fought for bigger things than crowns and higher seats than thrones. Your homes are set upon the land a dreamer found. The pictures on its walls are visions from a dreamer’s soul. They are the chose few — the blazers of the way. Walls crumble and Empires fall, the tidal wave sweeps from the sea and tears a fortress from its rocks. The rotting nations drop off from Time’s bough, and only things the dreamer’s make live on.”

I did a spot illustration for Batanga Magazine. It’s in a “vs” section called “Mortal Combat”. This month is Ricky Martin Vs. Chayanne.
A design for an upcoming event. Their logo is a bunch of dancing characters. These Body & Soul events are known to become intense with musical climaxes that many compare to a highly spiritual experience - hence my stain glass concept. Didn’t work. :( The client was not feeling this illustration AT ALL. Too offensive. I ended up creating another more conservative design.
FROM LAST NIGHT LIVE ART SESSION AT RAZA
“ELEMENTS”
Still needs lots of work with rendering, finished hair, tattoos, color, sound waves, mood, texture, but overall happy with the results especially in an uncomfortable posture I was in the whole night. Will post the final in a few weeks.
